About
Impostor Gallery is a pop-up art gallery, founded by Naomi Vanderpoorten, a radio personality at Qmusic and a passionate art lover. With this temporary gallery, we aim to be more than just a traditional exhibition space. We want to create a place where you feel welcome, even if you think you "know nothing about art."
Because let's be honest: who hasn't ever felt uncomfortable in a gallery? Like having to walk on eggshells or whisper in secret? That feeling of "I don't belong here" is exactly what we want to embrace. That's why this place is called Impostor Gallery. Because we all have doubts sometimes. Because art doesn't have to be elitist. And because it's okay to have questions or simply not understand it all.
Impostor Gallery is there for people who are curious, who want to see, feel and discover.
At the same time, we also give space to the artists' own doubts. Because they, too, sometimes struggle with the question: "Am I good enough?" In this gallery, we make that very question a topic of discussion. Doubt is not a weakness, but a source of strength for creativity.
We showcase work by emerging, talented artists, each with a unique story and style, from abstract to autobiographical, from painting to sculpture.
Impostor Gallery opened its doors in September 2025 at Your Art Gallery on the seaside, in Knokke. A month later, we opened in Menu Koffie in Ghent. And in April 2026, we’re returning to Ghent at Winebar ONA.
Dare to feel a little bit like an impostor sometimes. You are more than welcome here.
